Results

Noosa Christian College is proud of its excellent results across the school years measured by both internal and external testing.

The National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) testing for school years 3,5,7 and 9 has been in place since 2008. Noosa Christian College results for the Primary years have been consistently on par or slightly above National results.

Furthermore, College Primary Staff have been analysing student data and tracking results over this period to better direct our teaching and learning in the Numeracy and Literacy subject areas.

We Care

Our Primary campus has a rich variety of opportunities to develop character and facilitate spiritual growth during the important early years of school. These opportunities come through class time and whole of school extra-curricular events such as;

  • Shared initiatives such as birthday celebrations, fundraising for aid and charities, memorial services and Christmas celebration
  • End-of-term rewards for good behaviour
  • Discussion and recognition of values such as respect, responsibility, effort, compassion, service and integrity
  • Chapel programs held each week with guest speakers, music and fun activities
  • Chaplains support programs such as counselling and Bible Studies
  • Week of Worship (WOW) - an annual combined program with a spiritual theme and guest speaker
